It is now two years since I used. I had not tried any model before buying it except a small controller Hercules is incomparable.

What I like most is the affected Pioneer, I've realized when I tested other plates are less sensitive buttons less pleasant ect.
I also really appreciate Tracktor. The DDJ T1 4 track which is nice.
What I like least is the price of the flight case ^^.

I find the quality / price ratio great especially now because it casiment half price. It is great for beginners and for professional development. It takes up very little space which is convenient when it is transported.
I think I would do this choice with experience.

How long have you use it?

I use it for almost 1 year and a half.


Have you tried many other models before buying it?

Very few controllers, but I had all kinds of CDJ (200, 800, 1000 850) and I had the opportunity to mix on CDJ 2000.
I specify that gave it to me for my birthday.


What is the particular feature you like best and least?

PLUS:
- The pots, faders and buttons are the same as a set CDJ + DJM, so that someone who is used to mix on CDJ is not lost.
- Any kind of features available with Traktor, for which we need to invest a lot of money if you want to stay in CDJ.
- 2 mini boxes effects (one above each plate) on which you can assign three different effects, 7 or 8 are delivered with the software and you can download more. I would add that the effects available on both Traktor and a DJM, operate more accurately and are more manageable than the DJM.
- You can see the entire spectrum of each track (2 or 4 to choose from), in the same way as the nexus CDJ900 or CDJ2000, but with the precision of a real computer screen.


LESS:
- Slight lag somewhat surprising coming out of CDJ, but little embarrassing and that you get used quickly. I said that my pc is not very powerful, so it just be upgraded with a beefier machine.
- Fear of computers: The controller is completely dependent on the PC (or Mac), if the plant ... more sound!
Until now it has never happened to me, but when we do parties, we always branch CDJ and DJM more ...
- The routes console 4 is only for 4-way Traktor. There is no connection to connect CDJ, unlike KontrolS4 for example, and that's a shame!
- The size of the machine: For me it is a PLUS is approached by a pair of small CDJ (200, 350, 400) with a console, which is nice when you are accustomed to real turntables. But for some, it should be a problem, because once in a flight case, it takes almost as much space as real turntables. It loses one of the strengths of the controller: portability. But retains the main: the price!


How would you rate the quality / price?

Excellent as base can already do more things, more simply with the CDJ, and of course, as is the Traktor software on computer, there are always things to download more ... (but no need to my part).


With experience, you do again this choice?

As I said earlier, this is a gift ... But this gift has not happened by chance, friends familiar with the gear mix ...
And for my part if I had to buy a controller, I would have taken this one


PS: T1 (Traktor) is ideal for electronic music, HipHop and for those who like scratch, S1 (with Serrato) is more suitable and jog too.

Yes, CDJ 1000 MK3, DJM600, CDJ 500.

I love the plug and play, no need to be a computer to start using it.
The all-in-one for a nominal fee.
The size of jogs, it is really comfortable with.
The needle search, very convenient not need to turn jogs like a nag to find the right time to the song.

I do not like the finish: plastic ...
The lack of XLR is boring usually in clubs or elsewhere, it's XLR. If you are mobile you obtain 2 adapters Jack XLR male.
Jogs are a bit noisy despite their good sizes.
The absence of a VU meter on the console.
The absence of booth monitor, can not connect back and adjust the volume from the console

With the experience I remake that choice without hesitation. This is a good compromise between the pro and semi-pro

The +:
The handling of the controller very fast, easy to use with traktor, needs no configuration you connect and played directly, but is no problem has occurred to the levels.

NO, and I de-board, unless you buy to € 300 occasions!

Bought it less than a year and immediately the failure of a Cue "impossible" And yet, true and repaired.
This year in June, full training: a loud noise in the PC speakers echoed the monitoring of clicks to destroy anything!
We cut everything back on and it is the B slap instead of a song. The next day is the C.

Bought it a little less than a year,
former follower of vinyl on turntables Technics MKII (90-2000 years)
Very good "all in one" who has remained in my last nickel delivery 8am
no loss of sound quality, it is "Pioneer"!
It does not feel completely "lost" when the material then passes on "Pro" (CDJ800/1000/2000)

Good workaround if one has not the huge budget to equip the entire range directly CDJ2000 Nexus

The +:
- 4 "boards" (unlike the DDJ-S1 has only 2)
- Good reactivity
- Very good sound card

The -:
- Research pieces
- No USB slot to put the key made at the last minute

Remarks:
The "needle search" that my taste might be an option for use with effects like the CDJ2000
Incompatibility with RecordBox (no "controllers" is not elsewhere and it is a shame)

I use it for more than a year.

Traktor Kontrol S4.

Pros: Ergonomics, the arrangement of the controls (the visual light), ease of use, the effects in Traktor Pro!
The -: The jogs might be those CDJ's high ranges for such a price, the price, the audio input for use in mixer (CF S4) Traktor Pro not included.

Value for money: good (due to lower prices).

I use the Pioneer for 1 month, but I played it several times before.
I had until now Pioneer DDJ ERGO, so the model below the T1, but with the video Plus.j 've tested several times Cdj 1000, but it is not a controller Pro.Et I also try the traktor S4 also ....
But I much prefer the DDJ T1.

T 1 and all what you can expect on a controller with traktor mix by hand slides all alone .... The deck is great as if I was on my turntables, a treat for even the Scratch .. .

the least: not yet seen.

Ah this is a machine Professional are therefore price is worth it, I remake the same choice for this little jewel.

- 8 months that I possess.

- S4 Traktor, CDJ 2000, CDJ400

- I like the fact that there are four trays used in traktor, the effects (on the full version of traktor and not the version that comes is very limited. Responsiveness and very good, excellent sound card only ... I find little fault may be the controller power supply seems very fragile, and research in the pieces (Needle Search) touch is not necessarily very useful when using effects must think of the off ...

- The price / quality ratio may be a little expensive but it's still the pioneer ... it has been the possibility there's something to spend a long time behind the plate until you know "any practice."

I would do this choice because it is a great product worthy pioneer who allows himself to rapidly exploit for beginners and can be used by professional without any concern as to the possibility of software traktor.

Certe a bit expensive (999 euros fly box on sonovente) but it's a good product for mobile dj

I had: Kontrol X1, Kontrol S4 at NI. that were really intended to use more "live" as opposed to DDJ mix t-1.

What is so special that you love the most, least?

The intuitive for someone coming from the world of CD players is really better than the S4, the grip and a cinch and you're having fun really quickly.

What I like least that's the gain pots are tiny and you can not change the risk of endomager unit (according to the manual) but still it's really better than the S4 because the knob has a maximum and a TRUE TRUE minimum: it turns on the S4 in a vacuum, a blind man it is impossible to know where we're at, really annoying when you're used to a djm 800, the same eyes closed I know where I stand, but I wish they were bigger or at least changeable.

How would you rate the quality / price?

Expensive because it takes a GOOD computer and more, even with the same config DDJ T-1 have never planted on my ASUS X72J the S4 or cracked and wondering imperative deactivation wifi, lantivirus and crashed regularly.

With experience, you do again this choice?

Definitely yes! so intuitive that it does not worry too much about the technical part! this is a real treat .. for a DJ who mixes, for "kontrolleriste" who wants to live and launch 12milles samples and make live the S4 is still better.

Anyway it's solid and I said to someone from the universe CD players is a breeze ..
