Lately I have been mesing around in Atomix Virtual DJ 4 just to start to learn some digital DJ stuff. I am not a DJ by any means and probably will never be one but it is fun just to mess around and mix and blend my own music for my own online radio show that I put on from time to time just for friends and family. I also used Virtual DJ 4 to do mixes of top 40 songs to make my own DJ tape for family events and reunions. I have kind of become the DJ of all of our events thanks to Atomix Virtual DJ 4. Without Atomix I would have never been able to mix stuff together and match tempos manualy. I love how easy everything is in Atomix and it really made being a “DJ” fun to me.


GETTING STARTED

Very easy to understand once you get the basics of it out of the way you will be able to do some really cool do stuff and put your own DJ cd’s out to friends and family and you will be known as a DJ. Or even if you are taking DJ’ing serious and its not just a hobby then Atomix as gave you all the options that you need. I think this software is great for the first time just staring out DJ too, so you can understand the basics of how DJ’ing works.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The Program is very stable on my dual core pc running windows business vista. I can take this with me any where on my laptop and mess around and put together some good blends and mixes. As I stated im not a pro, but Atomix is teaching me to be a digital DJ pro and I will be continuing to use this software for fun for a long time to come.


OVERALL OPINION

Overall, I love this software. I havent used many DJ softwares so I can compare it to a lot of them. But out of the few that I have tried this one works the best for me and it is the easiest to understand and use.

=> The troop easy grip, and I used dj atomix (with all its flashy skin) before.
=> The beginners in my personal ptite room, then see sional private student.
=> Mobile Sempron 1800 +, 512MB, 80GB HDD, turned quiet, with rglages means.
=> From a stereo, nothing at all (no test with the bcd 3000)

OVERALL OPINION

=> Oula, one has to do the 6 months I think (but I'm VDJ for 3 years)
=> +: The beginners, the automatic calibration of the securities, but now it's more fun j'vite hand, the video mix that runs without problem, the display of spectra on m my timetable, direct recording to mp3 ...
-: Ba the quality of the effects which fears a max (the notch makes the coughing pregnant, it's really not that great) and then it happens that a plant, great for a flop in tonight! !
=> No, I started on vdj any fawn;
=> With exprience, I would traktor3, and you're done!

conclusion: good for beginners who want a quiet PPRE with a small budget, but must go to the APRS level up, and a traktor is the best!

Jolie-software point of view graphic and ergonomic style is sober the possibilities are superb (From the musical mix Mix Video).
-I used this software mainly for pleasure but also to mix some of my songs!
"I have only 256 Mb of RAM and yet my PC happens to run (sometimes for better or worse) the software!

GETTING STARTED

-Installation is very simple, as the whole is very simple You choose a folder where you want to place the file and the installation is done alone and without problems!
-When starting the software you can choose which version (Skin and others) you prfr is a good point. For example you want more work on the Mix Vido it is better to go to "Video Mix" as "Music Mix" etc. ....

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

-As I said above my PC is not a b ^ te racing program and yet very little ram.
Some bug-and yes sometimes occur because not everything is blue and pink in the computer world!

OVERALL OPINION

I had the Previous version so that is 6 years I have been with atomix for my mixing software and they suit me perfectly. Be careful though I only use very little this program to the mix of my songs. Preferences cubase or Audacity (freeware).
This is a good choice especially for young people who want to Djing!

Very popular software .. REFERENCES for beginners in Djing .. Excellent software for beginners (very intuitive), but for those who are a little more habitus and professionals, go your way!
Personal use only .. some personal mixes, but no evening.

My computer configuration:
Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD

The software is fairly stable, but sometimes j'prouve some trouble with the function of scratching .. As it can be to my soundcard quality clown ..

Otherwise, there is no problem, the software has never plant ..

OVERALL OPINION

I use this software for over a year.
Couraging mix of my hours, only for personal use, I think it's a very good software. I learned DJing with this software, no manual, without any tutorial .. As this software very easy and very instinctive .. But the professionals will probably charge more.

on the other hand, $ 300, I think it's a bit expensive for what it is ...
