Serato updated its Serato DJ mixing software to version 1.5.2, a new version that add a new expansion pack and controller compatibility.
The Chip Pack is a new effect library powered by iZotope and available for $19. Serato adds that you can now purchase and activate the expansion packs directly from the Online window in Serato DJ of the online store. The effects included in these packs can be used in both Single FX and Multi FX modes.
The v1.5.2 update also adds a shorter drop-down menu to the Single and Multi FX modes with scroll functionality for large effect lists.
Last, this new version is compatible with the following DJ hardware controllers: Vestax VCI-100 MKII, Numark Mixdeck Quad and Pioneer DDJ-SB. Users of these controllers benefit from a 14-day trial version and an upgrade offer.
The update is available for download from serato.com/dj/downloads.
