DW is definitely one of my favorite drum products manufactures. They always blow my mind. I purchased a DW 5002 kick drum pedal 4 years ago and I'm still in love with this beat machine. One of the big characteristics of every single DW product is that they are designed to fit every drummer's own style, you don't have to adapt to use them the products adapt to your playing. The DW 5002 is no exception. With a lot of customizable features, this pedal will fit your specific needs. Another cool thing about the 5000 series is that you can also find two other version of this same pedal, the 5000ADH which features a heelless pedal, and the 500ADS Solid Footboad pedal, accommodating even more your footwork techniques.

The DW 5002 has a great feel. With a bunch of different tweaks it makes easy to match your footwork style. They are extremely durable. I have mine for 4 years now and it still works like a brand new. It come with a really nice hard case.

The DW 5002 come with double chain, base plate, delta ball-bearing hinge, adjustable toe clamp, 101 beater and universal joints with memory locks.

This is another great DW product. Customizable, making it easy to match your drumming style and its durability makes worth every single penny spent on it.

I've been playing acoustic guitars for 35 years. Mostly jam with some friends, don't look for gigs any more. Love rock and roll, some country rock, blues.

I went to a friend's house for a Super Bowl party back in the mid 1970's and he had this guitar sitting in a corner. He bought it for $400, fooled around with it for a couple of months and then decided he didn't want to learn how to play. I kept picking it up and pluncking out short riffs, and was really impressed with it, so he started trying to sell it to me. And, I ended up taking it home that night for $150!

I have always liked the size of this guitar. 24 3/4" scale but only 39" total length and the body is 4" deep. You can sit comfortably in a LazyBoy and just play for hours. Laminated Mahogany sides and back, solid spruce top and Rosewood fretboard. Oh, and did I mention the sound? Very nice!

The action at the top of the freboard is good, but rises to about 3/8" at the 12 fret. I filed the bridge nut down as far as possible to get it there, and now there is no adjustment left. I plays pretty good below the 6 or 7 fret, but starts to buzz when you go any higher.

I do not have a case for this guitar and have never used a humidifier for it and it has held up very well. I have been amazed that it holds tuning forever, sometimes I'll leave alone for a couple of months, and it's still in perfect tune when I pick it back up. Over the past ten years, I have noticed the saddle is starting to pull away from the top, and the top has a bit of a ripple in the lower bout. Still, a fresh set of light strings, a bit of polish and ..."I'm on the road again"... Canned Heat, ca1977 or so.

This has been one of my best guitars. For a small dreadnought, the volume and crisp sound are very impressive. You have to play it with a pick to get the strings to ring. It sounds kinda dull when you flatpick or strum with your fingers. I also have a Martin D28 and a Taylor 410 and they are great instruments. But if I were in the market for a new guitar, I'd have to sell or trade one of those in. I'll never part with this little Alvarez 5002.

I aquired this guitar from a local music store. I paid $300.00, which included a hard-shell case.

The wood grain is very nice. The sound is excellent (for the type of wood used, spruce top with laminated mahogany sides). The neck is of typical size and the frets are laid in nicely. It stays in tune forever.

I cannot think of a single thing not to like.

The quality is high. The finish and glue is flawless.

This was a very good deal for the style of guitiar that it is. The sound and playability is above what the price tag would suggest.

How long you use it?
I used it for almost a year, but the double I had had almost 20 years after another drummer, with a simple string and a single gimbal. It dropped me there can, and find an almost impossible if you do not want to buy the rod up to 100 €.
I bought it online, on the right corner, and my salesman told me to mail. Upon arrival, I was able to notice the absence of the gimbal, mechanics repaired with a pin, which has allowed to hold up now.

What is so special that you love the most, least?
The best: beautiful shot of things, we see defects more easily.
The least: the difficulty to adjust the springs and tightening the double bass drum (but it was solved).

Did you tried many other models before buying it?
The Iron Cobra of my teacher, but his price was too high.

How would you rate the quality / price?
Well, despite the surprise of a gimbal which is missing a pin replaced with a screw.

With experience, you do again this choice?
No, I will go and see before buying, and I think point me to a pd of 222 at Thomann.

I use ECTT pedals for a little over a week, I pay 300 and that's a real treat!
Before I had a Pearl P-120 and to be sincre at niveu of sensation, no major changes.
But strength from my old pedals is its double-precision. Formidable!
In quick game, it will not get carried away. Every movement whether of the right foot or left foot is perfectly rendered by mcaniques.

It is a rather heavy double-pedals which can be Whereas as a strength or a weakness, for my by, I do not Agnant. The bats are large enough and the plastic ct your bass drum sound is thereby chang. J'avias tried many bats before (four front, wood ...) and finally I kept those books with taient 5002.

Rglages levels, unlike what I thought, there are not millions, but the key is the (inclination bats, hardness of the spring etc ...).
I by the apprci against many small gadgets like: scratches (for carpets) under the pedals, picks (though massive) thread to avoid dplacent they do, and a multitude of "mini ring memory" for your mmoriser rglages (at bats of the dial etc ...)
Finally the small default as it is (which is not really one) is its cover (rigid) transport. Because we really have to disassemble everything to be able to transport (unlike the nylon cover).

I use it for 2-3 months, no Manir trs intensive though.
What is the particular feature you like best and least?

+ It is really the pav: Systm the home (on the pedals on the right) the kick is good, as the deuxime screws located on the ct. The scratches adhrent and peaks as well.

+ Bats home a really big sound: a heavy sound plutt strong.

+ Good grip the foot on the footboard.

+ The game is fluid and plutt prcis: good quality ball bearings no squeaks at the springs, trs little play at the bar that connects the two pedals.

+ The Hard Case is included with plutt well made (solid). The elements are in place (even a little too ...), no risk of breakage so.

- The rglages ncessaires are the forcment but not very practical! Rings SETTING THE heuteur bats are hex is a bit galre (the cl is small and easily paumme). The worst is the SETTING THE angle bats. The screws are of standard 4-sided, and are located on the ct (not on top like a Iron Cobra, for example). If a line does not impede, the left screw is just below the link bar and you can not make a complete revolution with the cl ... requirement to disassemble the connecting bar, rgler of the attack, then return the bar! Trs is binding. In addition, the SETTING THE attack him even a little and not super galre prcis.

- A little "heavy" under the foot. This makes it much more prcise sr, but it's not a great big rapids MODEL (MODEL I perso "Turbo", the MODEL "Accelerator" with his cam eccentric sense be faster) even if it is still acceptable trs.

- It is to be quite fragile rpute: indeed, the Systm fixing of the double string a little knock, the footboard is not super grazed, and the springs are not very sturdy either. APRS, there are about 50% of people who have had problem and 50% who are happy trs. For now I have not broken anything (thankfully).

- The Hard Case: obligation to disassemble the bar and shortened to a minimum. Ri does not move, obviously, but it's a bit annoying when one carries a lot.

If not before I possdait an "Iron Cobra". It plutt solid trs solid, but I find it less prcise underfoot, less fluid. In addition to the ge squeaks come and play a lot (well, she gave me hard 7 years old when same).
How do you report qualitprix?

In France, with a price of around 500, it's totally a scam (image of DW requires ...).
Personal I bought it on a German site for 300, and a is dja much instantly.
Exprience with, you will do again this choice?

It is fluid and plutt prcise, but I primarily bought because I did not have enough money to pay me an Axis (the pearl of the fast but must dbourser 700! )

Taken up very quickly, correct settings for me neophyte, I walked on the original model Tama, but considering the price I think is largely a winner.

It's been two and a half years that I play on the double pedal, without remorse or regret.

What is so special that you like most and least?

Comfort and typing accuracy are what I like in this pedal. The main drawback of this model I find is the fact that it is not easy to solve exactly as desired. Although all parameters are variables, put them accurately is another matter.

Have you tried many other models before buying it?

I tried other pedals as double iron cobra (unfortunately I can not remember the model) but every time I felt it lacked the little something I finally found in my DW. I also tried 1-2Yamaha (no recollection of the model as well), the same verdict.

How would you rate the quality / price?

quality / price ratio means, without more.

With experience, you do again this choice?

Without a doubt ... A again, I wait around longer as lon, gtemps before buy this kind of double pedal.
