MGR/Paul Gelinas « Alvarez PF90S »
Published on 04/30/02 at 15:00I discovered this guitar while perusing my local Mars store. The instant I picked it up, I had to have it. The sound, size, playability and looks of this puppy are awesome. It was a bargain at a paltry $499.
This guitar produces beautiful tones and plays as easy as any guitar I've ever owned. And the looks are absolutely killer! Mercy, Mr Percy!
The only drawback is that this model doesn't come with a hardshell case, so I had to buy one.
The PF90S is a beautifully crafted folk-sized guitar with a solid AAA Engelmann spruce top and a solid rosewood back - the sides are laminated rosewood. It also has Gold hardware, pearl inlaid rosette soundhole, and gorgeous binding.
I recommend the PF90S to anyone. I LOVE this guitar! (o:
