Heavyspender's review

Epiphone PR-100
This guitar was made in China. It has 22 frets and is a straight acoustic guitar. (i.e. no electrical components.) The bridge is stock plastic (?) bridge. No setting controls, as it is a straight acoustic. It has a mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard.

The back of the neck on this guitar is nice and smooth and let's your hand slide easily up and down the neck. Because the guitar needs a set-up, the action is not that great. So I use this guitar as a practice guitar to strengthen my hands and improve my picking and fretting accuracy. As with most dreadnought style acoustics, it is difficult to get to the top notes/last frets of this guitar. I guess if you want to play high note acoustic solos, you need to get an electric acoustic with a cutaway. This guitar is light and easy to move around with. It's not so big that it's not cumbersome to play, which is great. At this price point, this acoustic sounds great. When playing chords, the sound coming out of the sound-hole is big, full and bright. It sounds better than a few thousand dollar acoustic guitars that I've played, in my opinion.

I play for a worship service, and sometimes we play some acoustic tunes. I haven't used this acoustic on stage yet, but I think it would sound great either miked or if I get a pickup for it. Like I said, I love the sound of chords coming out of this thing. Because of the action, playing single notes don't sound that great. You've got to focus on fretting properly instead of zoning in on your vibrato, etc.

I've had this acoustic since the beginning of the year, and it has served its purpose so far. It's good enough to play on stage with, and that is amazing considering how much I spent for this guitar. And since I got such a great deal on this guitar, I really can't complain about the semi cheap bridge and tuners. Getting the guitar set up is up to me as well. I tried ibanez's, martins, gibsons, ovations, and a couple other brands. This is the one I could afford. For the price, it is good enough and does the trick. I wish I could have waited and purchased an acoustic-electric for a few dollars more, but that was not guaranteed. Knowing that I wouldn't be guaranteed to find a great deal on an acoustic-electric anytime soon, I had the chance to purchase this great deal, and I took it. No regrets.

US made guitar design in Asia, Dreadnought type, affects 20 boxes, very typical blues / rock.
The handle is round sansplat Central. This is a scratch for picking.

Frome the specific promises of the neck stiffness in the left thumb for beginners when it attacked barred. against by the Word of the handle is an example of what should be some "brands".
Speaking of polish, I find that the body of the beast too fragile and the shield is too small. Once captivated by the sound of lengin have is easily embedded and there: scratch that .....
she is very well balanced, even for a game up.

As I said before, it is typical blues and rock. With this guitar, it has to slap. It is obvious that the other basic arpeggio. Bavouille sound a bit (and even when much is taken for Steve VAI)
Actually, I am fortunate to have bought this instrument in order to do what is expected. (If you have not understand everything, read the sentence from the beginning, as I have done). pastries is subtle but generous and often is what many seek musicos club. The Beatles never made us scream with Logoi girls (I'm sorry if it's wrong but I know not Write the spelling)

I use it since 4 years maintenat. Besides that, I play metal and it allows me to m'éclatersur good blues / rock, very east-coast.
Quality: his big heart
Its failure: the takeover by micro for the stage: she projects much and not always strictly ...
before choosing, I try 7 or 8, all in the same price range. and for that price, with the use I make of it a treat. I exchange it not against two barrels of "X".

Mine is an epiphone DGRAD sun with a nice burst trs warm, with the possibility to put a strap, mechanical rather good, good quality varnish.

Channel enjoyable enough fluid, difficut ACCESS acute unless you've got to trs long finger! lightweight weight. I started with the one, and I had time to try the yamaha since and I have published many fade over the piphone (value for money scabies).

The sound is warm enough in my opinion, trs well to play the Nirvana unplugged or the blues. it is good for rithmiques trs. good it must press the strings because otherwise your game will start taking sonnorits Indian "chtonhiiiiiiing" or "ziiiiiiing" short parasites.

This gift is not scratching those who are too soft, it is Honnor this guitar. It is very well for beginners but not only does it with you camping, the beach, but parking is good I was in my room has enough.
