Produced in the secret of a traditional Japanese stringed instrument workshop, hidden in the mountains ...
The beauty of the species and quality manufacturing impose the greatest respect for him, it is an object of art, one has the certainty of the grip.
No frills for this model, a desire for simplicity, enhanced by an exceptional finish.
In details: The table is made of cedar, back and sides in mahogany, rosewood bridge, neck nato (exotic wood) and ebony.

UTILIZATION

Channel ever in a sound ... very fine, very nice, very rare.
The action is terrible ... but I still lowered a little, just to feel as comfortable as my Les Paul ...
Tip: Avoid strings "extra light".

SOUNDS

I was struck by the sound of this guitar from the first listen.
It was on a "radio-session" by Zakk Wylde performing a (epic) acoustic version of Stillborn.
In her style, she has no equal for me, its sounds crazy to me, it sounds like either a Martin or a Gibson but as the DY61.
I thank fate, luck, destiny (?), For having put in my path by an unlikely coincidence and mystical.
It takes sometimes ...
I will not attempt to detail with the words: listen "Stillborn" is the best way to get a clear idea.

OVERALL OPINION

It is a rare item, only made in the early 90s and for the U.S. market, mine is from 1993 I think ...
I admire its purity and beauty of the magical sound that emerges.
If you come across one, do not miss.
