« Seagull M6 »
Published on 11/30/02 at 15:00I acquired this guitar on Ebay, new with hardshell case, for $315. I purchased it because of positive reviews for the S6 models and figured this one was even better.
I like the simplicity of design, the very playable neck and the sweet tone for the dollar.
At times it seems a little too bright, possibly due to the spruce top, bone saddle and light gauge strings.
Everything appears top notch. The fretwork is nice. It does require frequent tunings however.
I wouldn't buy a seagull without playing it first, though this did turn out fine. I have played some s6s that are just as good or better sounding than my M6, but would cost more from the store with case. A quality guitar at its price point.
