I spent a whole day Pigalle before buying this guitar. I was looking for a format or parlor folk (petty cash) for max 400 €.
I tested quite a model that day:

The seagull won

UTILIZATION

light guitar and very nice, fairly massive macnhe does not move a muscle, action very low and well balanced.
limited access to acute (no need to be a specialist to understand).
varnish hyper sensitive but, IMHO, let the wood resonate better than 4 mm of polyurethane varnish that I've seen on other guitar at the same price.

SOUNDS

projection large enough size of the box.
its very balanced: low present without being intrusive, treble content ...
ideal for playing finger (pure bliss!) or arpeggio. on the other hand if you get the buggers a mediator to assist you while bellowing like an ox and quickly dirty the result, it is not a dreadnought!
plain ideal reduced volume.
guitar hyper react well to the game, refers to any attacks on the nuances of the strings, hit the left hand ... there really is something to play with.

OVERALL OPINION

In conclusion cheap model, not made in china, with good feature, no frills (very simple) and a nice sound.

sustainability level in my opinion there is no problem, mine was already one occasion, she has not moved since I bought it.

I purchased this fine "parlor" sized guitar at my local music store. I wanted a smaller acoustic to play anywhere without any worries. I paid about $300.00.

The comfortable size and portability of this guitar are the features I like the most. It also sounds very nice, and that is the bonus I was not expecting. It is nicely crafted, which I find typical of all Seagull products. No fear taking it outside for some open air playing.

I thought the action was a little high, but went right to work on the saddle and with a little careful sanding (150 grit paper), had it adjusted to my liking in no time. Due to the price paid for it, I am not afraid to do some set up work myself.

The Seagull demonstrates first rate construction and quality. I look at the nut first, and it is very clean with the strings sitting at just the right position in the nut. The finish is clean, and the cedar top is prone to small nicks etc., but that is what cedar is all about. Inside the guitar is spotless, with no evidence of glue, shavings or other signs of shoddy work.

Great instrument that is easy to play, looks nice and sounds great. I reach for this guitar first.

Ct CHARACTERISTICS see Audiofanzine or the Seagull website - the one I bought is not electrified (that said, I have not heard as many microphones Seagull).
Small guitar, made in Canada, 14 boxes, no varnish, which causes (and yet I'm pretty careful) acclr aging ... Channel nice. Aesthetics only problem for me, the head, how do we call a, dj the top of the neck, I find it ugly trs. Petit, plutt ridiculous. We can not have it all. For less than 400 euros, all seems correct. Ah yes, last BMOL: for the price indicated no book cover, and given its size, I have not found (no long search) to cover fits.

UTILIZATION
