Handcrafted in Canada. Dreadnought Guitar format: Solid cedar top and sides cherry. No chi-chi!

UTILIZATION

Yes it has a handle for an impressive folk, but then even small hands for a guy, I have no problem to play on. On the contrary, once the habit, the handle is really nice and easy: the strings are well spaced and I find myself totally mix my brushes when I played on a folk to handle more "normal". Try it before of course, but frankly I do not what it could have off-putting. A real treat in the long run.

Dreadnought, it always has a well-constructed body: D ... but hey no surprise, that side is quite similar to many other guitars.

Purchased from OCCAZ my S6 is already ten years behind. There's no denying it takes the shock! Compared to new models seen in magazines, mine is darker, wood has aged to the delight of my ears. The varnish is indeed fragile and even by taking precautions and not play with a pick I made a few marks. I consider that it gives him the charm, it takes a few aging and wrinkles. Only downside: the small portion that lies between the rosette and pickguard, which is not protected, tends to become damaged in a lot of scratching (the wood seems to wear out, gradually unraveling ), I protect this place with a light adhesive tape.

For action, I tried a new store that had not scored, so I guess it was okay.

All in all crude oil without stripping chi-chi, no frills and that's what I like. The wood does not shine, there's no pictures or incrustatons everywhere, it's enough guitar "roots". There are marks on the edge of the handle for the frets 5 and 7: original, simple but not really annoying.

SOUNDS

I am a guitarist means without any pretension. I like to accompany me, atmosphere "fireside" and play some beautiful arpeggios. I play rock / pop rock / folk with. For this use it seems ideal. The projection is really good (and yet I was in Martin 10/47 strings ... I happening right now in 12/54). By trying it and comparing it to other guitars in the same range: Art and Lutherie, Takamine and Yamaha 300 to € 450) ... what had really strong and decided it was really low there. They resent in the stomach as soon as you scratch an agreement: the happiness in its purest form!

Nice to be accompanied is also quite easy to play with fingers the width of the handle helps, and again the low resortent well. I do not really sound too metallic clicks and the Seagull S6 is the opposite of that kind of sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I have for almost a year, it now has 10! 3 Owners, some marks on the varnish, but its a really warm (and probably in + +)!

I've never played a guitar on it. It takes me to the guts with its tendency to resonate in your stomach. Bought for € 200 from scratching OCCAZ I do not see how I could better invest. Even more expensive or new, it's worth looking for the sound round, and the feeling of playing an instrument that has a strong personality. The Canadians have to add a slice of maple syrup which would explain its softness and beautiful color. Me I'm in love!
