Value For Money : Excellent
- Canadian manufacturing. the "hand made in La Patrie, Quebec, Canada" written at the back throws a LOT!
- Solid Cedar, Back & Sides: Wild Cherry, Mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Tusq Nut in Nut ® and compensated bridge, Finish: Semi-Gloss Preamp Godin Quantum (1 volume, 1 bass, 1 treble).
- The general appearance is very sober, very classy. The varnish is almost invisible and smell the wood grain, patting the table. As against this makes it somewhat vulnerable and we must be careful not to knock on a prominent corner because it is probably the driving insured. But it gives an incredible feeling to feel the wood and almost raw, which makes it alive. Nothing to say about all of the finish is very clean, very neat. The head is really good.

UTILIZATION

- The handle is confusing at first. Used to play a Takamine EG523SC end with a handle and sliding like an electric, I was surprised by the handle of the S6 a broad and thin, in the style of a classic. But you soon and it is ultimately rather easy to play.
- No easy access to acute on this model. We must rather take the CW model with soloing if you want.
- Well-balanced weight, the overall comfort is very good.
- The sound is really the highlight of this guitar: very balanced, no smoke and mirrors as some who plan to acoustic bass and treble super bright but prove tiring over time. The S6 is much more neutral, with a balanced low-mid-treble. Mediums are also very good. Before connecting the acoustic sound is already amazing. Once connected we find the same feeling, that sign of quality rather than the preamp and the sound that respects the sound spectrum returned in acoustics.

SOUNDS

- The sound of the Seagull make it more versatile enough. Its tonal balance allows him to play in all registers, even a little booster equalizer preamp to boost bass and treble in the example to play the country-rock rhythms and powerful folk. I play with more rhythm and arpeggios, rarely picking, pop-rock accompaniment. But I feel very versatile and very usable in a jazz record its accuracy and balance should be an asset.
- In rehearsal I play live on the sound system.

OVERALL OPINION

- I use it recently, but I'm already hooked. It's really a beautiful guitar, sober, just, no frills, but delivers a full, balanced sound.
- I love the finish and sober side "raw", the feel of wood. I love its sound. Meanwhile I like less "vulnerable" and it is necessarily for the appearance of "authentic" cited above. So to do with.
- I tried Cort (nice finish but a little too bluff next sound I think), the Takamine (I love the sleeves, but you have to pay for a quality Taka) for Ibanez (bof acoustics, pretty good hip).
- Excellent value for money and this apparently unanimous. This guitar could cost € 300 more expensive without this offends anyone. In its price range, I found no equivalent in terms of guitar sounds.
- I do it again this election easily, and I intend to keep this guitar to life is a joy.
