Therefore after a download (as 10GB), a facility altogether with the rapid installation system from FXpansion and finally an authorization on the net via the license manager BFD2, that's simple, we finally have access to sounds.

And it's a big rock kit rather typed but adjustable so as to have a more tight and more "heavy metal" is given to us as food.

The whole kit sounds great. I use it for 2 months with a battery electro TD9 customized and dynamic level is perfectly adapted and it actually feels the number of layers (as I pushed to the max is 256) and multiplied it feels good in terms of overall sound. It's simple it's like a really sound and playability is enhanced and all of a sudden becomes more natural.

Cymbals are sampled far better than original BFD and are very well chosen and work well together, only the ride has a ping shallow well in the crash but dark. I wish I had a bonus in china but ... The charley meanwhile is really well recorded, well detailed and really groove (although there are hands, the sound is also great, right?).

The drums are perfect, the snare is very detailed and quite fat, as well as the bass drum overflowing a bit anyway. Toms are controlled and slap.

This is exactly what I was looking for the sound of my group.

Very little work in the mix for the sound you want. Making it a great kit for BFD2 but those who are tired of too much hassle to find the sound that fits properly and who want big sound (like me ;) ). on the other hand to fit properly should do some tweakings.

Personally I simply adapted the distribution of microphones and a little background dampé the bass drum and put two in tuning the snare drum for more banging, all to get her a little more specific. I also added on the master console Vintage Warmer BFD2 effect that gives me everything I need to be easy to mix and strain into the sound correctly.

Before buying it I just spent the Site waves platinum samples in Reaper and my sound system and it convinced me ;)

Price level, in downloadable version or $ 60 boxed 75 € + fdp at Thomann (, I find it very reasonable for a kit of this caliber and this quality, especially in the exacting sound I wanted (to pretty much).

I am even ready to buy the complete package for other sounds but for now I'm just that and it looks really good to me and my friends in my group ;)

So at all good for those who play rock electro battery (eg course in programming it works very well too ;) )
