SilverFox Percussion has announced the introduction of a new signature drum stick model, the Cristiano Micalizzi stick.
This model was designed in collaboration with Italian drumming star Cristiano Micalizzi, said to be one of Europe’s top recording and touring artists. His signature drumstick is said to be very well balanced with a great feel and very fast rebound.
Crafted from high grade, select USA hickory dowels, the Cristiano Micalizzi model measures 16" long with a diameter of .585". The round ball tip measures .410" in diameter. A short taper gives the stick added bulk in the neck area, which results in a faster rebound and a well balanced center of gravity. Though originally designed for a Funk/Fusion drummer, this versatile stick is said to be very well suited for jazz and rock.
