I had dreamt to play on Ludwig drums since my teenage years when I was listening to John Bonham, Ringo Starr, Clive Deamer and later listening to Jordan Rose, Questlove, etc. I first purchased a Ludwig breakbeats. And finally a Ludwig classic maple natural finish (bass drum 20"). These drums sound really good, although it took me a little while to figure out what head to use for the kick. I ended up buying an Evans Emad Heavyweight and it sounds very good. I like how the toms sing on these drums.
