«  very good instrument »

How long you use it?
4 years
Did you tried many other models before buying it?
a good bit (pearl, gretsh, tama ...). Before I was typing on a Transfer, a stick disguised as a drumkit
What is so special that you love the most, least?
Very good sound, drumkit sexy enough (yes I fiddle with my drumkit). Against by the sonor is therefore compatible with anything else the hardware level, not even the newest sonor ...
How would you rate the quality / price?
Very very good in my case, for 800 euros you can really buy cans these days ...
With experience, you do again this choice?
No problem!

For info: http://www.sonormuseum.com/1995+/sclass/sclass.html

This is a mid-range model built in the 90s in two versions (s class c class and maple) and will be replaced by the Pro Class S and S Classix.
The main difference is the wood used: the old version's class is a mixture of maple and birch, and the new s class contains only maple maple.
Also note that the old version was assembled in Germany.

Its level is a powerful drumkit. I have a kit 20x16 "10x9" 12x10 "14x16", a "small" kit with a floor tom deeper than wide, so that sound a little less serious, but "bigger". The whole is very enjoyable to play and record, but very harmonious together elements differ much.
It's easy to give, for it is evil against the agreement (which I believe is recurrent in sonor).

This is a midrange that pulls up, although the construction is uneven from one drum to another. The veins of my tom viola are perfect, those of medium tom suggest that the manufacturer has recovered Falls upscale. Well it sounds great so it's going. What's nice is that it's really the midrange and low end not disguised scrap a little more careful (brackets and deck fittings).
So we are way ahead of the Force series Bidule, but to fill the Delite, Hilite and company.

Looking at what is available now for 800 euros nine is not clear picture! The downside is the hardware not found, at the same time to break something you really have to go. (An old drummer told me one day: "watching your drumkit we understand why the Germans have crossed the Maginot Line"). Little quirk: the circles of the bass drum in "plastic", scary at first but it stands up easily to use.
But the advantage of the opportunity is that the wood has begun to age (nearly 20 rods anyway), it took roughly its shape, and the instrument will change unless its a brand new trick ( when you see more than the drying time of wood decreases more)

Another highlight (as each) of this drumkit is its versatility: I found this model to a concert and it was tasteless varietoche nickel (I love the varietoche tasteless), I lent it to drummers reggae, free music and it was perfect, and I make big noise rock and is also nickel. After this is according to the game, tastes ... This is sure to strike a light jazzy end it will be less than 60 gretsch ...

In short I think this model is part of good note occases time, also because it's not a legend. Try before you buy, however, but I believe not one person who comes to this novel type is the type to buy a bateuze eyes closed.
