Excellent
For how long have you been using it?
2 years, the person before me 1 year and his teacher for 6 years (so I have the old model). It is also like new except for a small touch that I had to do with chamfers.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?
Sonor 1007, CB drums, pearl forum Mapex travel, many sub-low end crap that I do not even cite the names (though some are already mentioned in other reviews;]) etc..

What is so special that I like the most?
Despite the range and quality of wood, with good skin and very little (or not) of muffler you get a more than adequate.
I used to rehearse, and many novices do not even see the difference with my real drums. A drummer or someone who has the ear would be aware of the difference, especially in light of its harmonic and less color, roundness and precision with the finest woods, but it's still excellent. Especially the bass drum, bluffing! (As always with Tama elsewhere). Even the cymbals are offered much less disgusting than other brands!

What is so special that I like least?
The hardware is not very nice, the support is basic and tom bracket with two holes. The skins offered with ... Basically it's mostly details.

How do you rate the quality / price?
It is rather expensive for its range (prefer the occasion), but largely the best value for money that combines all the competitors I've tried. But indeed, especially for real brands like Mapex or Pearl is also a matter of taste.

With experience, this choice would you do?
As drumkit Repeat ', to start with a true drumkit or as a drumkit replacement: without hesitation.
Of course for the stage or recording it is better to type in the higher-end obviously.
