UTILIZATION
Manuel appalling. Editing or systematic recording at first difficult to understand. After many years, the Fostex philosophy becomes clear and pleasant. Editing capabilities and tennis multitrack accurate and reliable. Nice screen. Jog dial. Physical access keys ok. Vu meters, but I wish I could have a video output for even better see what I'm doing. System stability.
SOUNDS
Beautiful. This is a standard based on professional requirements.
OVERALL OPINION
I do not like the multitrack with a computer, for reasons of reliability and 'touch hardware. The d160 Fostex fully meets my needs quality, editing and research sound reliability. An oldie but still very current professional standards.
