Thank you for reading my first review since the OM7 OM6 includes most of the OM7 CHARACTERISTICS but with two essential Difference: an output level of more and less than lev rponse in treble
The MODEL OM6 is just below the OM7 (10% less). It is a standard microphone of Contents scne United States. It is specially optimized Audix APRS for live sound volume. In fact, it still offers a little more feedback to Resistors but it is a notch above Submitted least in the treble. Even if it does not benefitted from Systm attnuation internally, it did not seem that the more silent OM6 enclain saturate the OM7. The diffrence between the two pickups would be located at plutt their capacity to return the dynamic low. In fact, OM6 is significantly less efficient than the OM7 on soft passages: the effect of proximity is really more musical and "relevquot; on OM7.
OVERALL OPINION
On my voice, sounds a bit OM6 duller and colder than the OM7. This is certainly a more micro suited for the "big voice tape", but you really need in perspective: the diffrence between these 2 microphones do not jump IMMEDIATE ears. Especially well-being rcupre heat and brightness if you Do not hesitate to push her into a corner pramp (rcuprer for harmonics and a nice little saturation) I would not be surprised with a deeper voice than mine, or a good prampli micro lamp - you get a warm grain trs.
To be honest, I had a lot of tests and knowledge tests before feeling ranged o the limits of the relative OM6 OM7.
But just 30 more, I prfr the OM7 for better return of acute and performance on the dynamics suprieur low.
