Value For Money :
Excellent
Specifications:
Hypercardioid dynamic microphone type
bandwidth close: 45 to 16,000 Hz
Bandwidth distance (1m): 95 to 14,000 hertz
Weight: 170 g
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about a week. What I like about this mic is its size.
It is as small as a Shure SM 58 and the sound it gives is great.
This micro has the same look as its big brothers, the Beyer TGX 60 and 80 (61 and 81 also), but 1 / 3 shorter and 1 / 3 thinner than them. I think he looks better than Beyer TGX 47 and 48.
It is for me the direct rival of the SM 48, Sennheiser e 825 and 840.
This micro has the same heat and power than his illustrious brother.
The only criticism that can be it's weakness in the lower frequencies, for me, less well represented than other mics in the series and strength shocks.
Its value for money is good for a micro-scale of this ($ 150 U.S.).
It will be great for high voice, or to cut frequencies too low for some singers.
Of course, this microphone is not the characteristics of the brothers mentioned above, but does have the recognizable sound of Beyer TGX series (and album for that matter).
I think this microphone is not the one we used for scenes from the start and for the records, but will serve as a good micro booster.
I do it again this choice (the beyer forces) and advise testing for everyone!
Well, thank you all.
