As the name suggests this low was made in the USA does. She has, like many Jazz Bass, 22 frets. If you find it in the horrible nomenclature Fender has a body frne (ash), a key in rosewood (Rw) and its color is tobacco sunburst (TSB). Mine is a little lighter than the photo and the shield is a little green (it is very light not green grass!).
The electronic active ncessite two 9-volt batteries dvisser temperatures requiring a plate on the back of the instrument. This is not the most practical. It has a volume knob, a micro scale, an adjustable treble, bass and midrange.
The bridge is classic and trs MRIT to be a little beefier on an instrument of this range. The mcaniques are partially plastic but seem all the same solid trs.
The strings of a deep draft (045/110) can be inserted through the body.
Come with the bass, hard case and strap lock, cleaner Fender, a cl rgler to the handle and an allen cl.
UTILIZATION
The neck is a Jazz Bass, fine and enjoyable to touch trs. Access in acute trs is correct, the weight is a good low-fat (4 kg) but it is very well balance.
Actually we get a good sound quickly trs, simply plug it into an amp!
SOUNDS
This is the highlight of this bass. The body frne done a lot for that.
This bass is versatile and trs despite his strong personality can fit any style.
The bridge pickup is gripped with acute trs with a beautiful grain and pure serious trs. The neck pickup dlivre him more crystalline treble of the serious rounder and much more of a medium which gives a magnificent mediator for all that is rock. I love its central position with two microphones which bring them from scabies characteristics. He then sufit dplac lgrement around the middle position to refine the sound DSIR.
In any case branch in my walkabout sound is incredible heat bonement prsence and personality.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for two months. His sound is what most j'apprcie.
What I did not apprci is the "finishing" a little faster with this bass benefitted. I had problems with buttons, potentiometers that dvissait problem thus q veneait of potentiometer which in contact with the battery and cause cuts and intermittent buzz (thank you Broc 'n Roll NMES for the rapidly rgl bp).
I also possde a sterling, and soon the Jazz Bass is much warmer, with less dynamic it is also easier to slap master.
I really wanted a Jazz Bass and I have not tried other brands fender. I tried an American Standard Jazz Bass and I have absolutely no t convinced by the switch S1 is supposed to replicate a vintage sound. / I found that this was a gimmick and that n ' very little contribution. I tried a JB Reggie Hamilton offers the possibility of playing in an asset or liability but I n'tait not convinced by the microphone precision. Finally I also tried an American Deluxe, but the alder body frne brings an originality in sound grain very appreciable.
In conclusion it is an amazing sounding bass but MRIT finish more treats from fender. And especially to try before you buy a Jazz Bass because they have a sound all REALLY Different.
