Bass with a body shaped alder Precision and Jazz handle type (at least for that width) made in Mexico.
Maple neck with maple fingerboard with 20 frets in one piece.
Precision micro-type in the neck position and a type Jazz at the bridge.
Settings: volume, balance, bass and treble (knob concentric) and mediums.
This is an active low powered by a 9V battery which access is done by unscrewing the back plate (a trap was clipped be welcome ...)
Bridge "Vintage" (tip sheet folded) lifts open and synthetic bone nut.
Comes in a deluxe padded cover with a key BTR for the truss rod and 5 year warranty.

UTILIZATION

In terms of ergonomics is of a Fender neck so pleasant, access to acute correct and it does not sting the nose too. on the other hand if you have back problems its weight can be prohibitive, and it takes a much wider belt to not cut into the shoulder.

His side is versatile but with character and that's why I chose him. I wanted an active bass and I was left on an Ibanez SR700 with Bartolini pickups. I liked the Ibanez, comfortable, lightweight and a wide enough range of sounds, but once plugged the Fender ... slap, much potato and a more vitamins, less goes everywhere.
I also compared other Ibanez and Cort in the same price range, the only one that could make me hesitate was a BTB with a kit EMG, but the handle way too flat ATK does not please me.

SOUNDS

Config with a P / J and a 3-band preamp was something to have fun and find happiness in many registers. The neck pickup alone gives a big rock sound but with plenty of attack quickly loses its definition. And the bridge pickup alone gives many acute, according to the type of game settings and it's more or less annoying.
Just find the right balance between the pickups and correct frequency if necessary, personally I prefer to make my settings on the amp.

In group I put everything to 12 and the balance in circles for potato neck pickup and biting bridge pickup, a pick, a distortion and go for the big Hard-Core that spot.

But the finger and slap it sends it right.

OVERALL OPINION

It'll soon be three years since I played with and in its price range in nine honestly she is doing. Against by the bridge is pathetic, I replaced it with a Gotoh (45 €) is the day and night. The factory settings were not good either, the bridge pickup much lower, so its a big difference.
I also replaced the belt fasteners with lock strap, the problem I had is that one of them is unscrewed (a piece of toothpick with wood glue, we saw over and 're done)
By gold against the pickguard ... and as this is a special model unless they do make a custom one can not replace.

Overall I'm satisfied, but with experience, for the same budget I would look to the opportunity to have a better quality instrument, as in Sandberg example.
