Regardless, like any instrument, only to come across one that suits us ... And then it says made in the USA, anyway, in any case everything suggests that the U.S. have the heart to work for this series , well crafted!
Purchased used with a 100w amp H & K 600 € all. Gift.

UTILIZATION
Its handle modern c is a call to double notes, it is a treat for those who love authentic jazz bass connotation with defects that are not really. The sound is in the fingers ...
SOUNDS
After the update microphones, Fender sounds, huge sustain. Turn the knobs to find your sound and it's good ...
Tremendous versatility in the fingers, without even touching the knobs, wedged permanently. No need to effect (s) in my case, it's a treat to hear produce such a sound!
It sounds good in all configurations, but turns on when plugged into an amp head very punchy!
Last test studio, on a Gallien Krueger 1001 RBII set flat, live up to the table, the engineer was amazed by the sound, wah he did. Wah I also made listening, headphones and monitors, incredible roundness, definition, class too. In the mix with drummer and Rhodes was Motown's style!
OVERALL OPINION
Without regret, after almost a year on every day, past, still weary hours, it is soft, precise.
Good to remember that it is important to keep it well adjusted, from there it is a source of infinite happiness ...
Valid for all instruments combined!
So it is with conviction that I recommend instruments of this range at an affordable price, there are still quite new in, in small shops are closing one after the other ... unfortunately they are no longer the Fender catalog. Those after 2010 are exceptional, they are recognized by their string through. I saw one recently tried very poorly resolved, but it was a good "vibrancy", too, and a perfect finish.
It was for sale 750 € more ...
Do not hesitate to change the pickups, indulge yourself with Fender SCN pickups for example, I validate this choice 100%, after that, the bass is really very good professional sounding instruments.
Small recent story, the classic sunburst body and satin varnish which becomes bright in the long run, have not survived my sander and my spirit custom, some would say sacrilegious. After which I oiled the alder wood with oil and natural shade, slightly colored, just superb, and, believe it or not, once the wood in the open air, just oiled, I think the sound yet taken another dimension ...
