From an active electronics I had to see my amp settings before finding what suited me

Rated 10 after changing the strings (yeah it's a lot but it's 10/10 compared to what I like to hear personally)

OVERALL OPINION

it must be 3 years that I have (one year of intensive use)

UTILIZATION

The wide handle is very comfortable to play in the bass, the instrument is positioned relatively easily, but I think the important weight or I use a relatively wide strap. The sustain is relatively good. But I think I have not yet found the right position, because I think the little easy access to acute (including strings and Mi Severe).
I also tried a lot before finding a balance between treble and bass pickups, but that may be because I play from 4 different amps.

SOUNDS

It is very comfortable for the slap, as it is not hindered by the microphone. I only use very little effects, EQ and compressor. I find it more comfortable in the registers high groove (funk, jazz) in the rock. This is perhaps because I use ropes shallow draft.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, this is a good bass even though I'm a bit disappointed compared to the expectation that I had: it is less easy to capture what I thought. Compared to my other bass (Ibanez TR400), I find it less versatile but easier slap in the registry. It is therefore a good supplement. But it remains an excellent quality / price ratio. With still look nice. I'm happy to play on, but the next one will not.

A quick response to the request for an opinion posted reviews:
I am pro bassist, I've owned this bass a little while. I go to the local store in order to buy a fender and when I saw this Mexican fender $ 600 CAD I did forbear to look, I had to spend 10 to 15 minutes The scrutinize only to find she had a violin and an impeccable and flawless finish, the only complaint is that the starting action is a bit too high but it is a minor problem that fits, I compared the finish with an American and honestly there is no significant difference, I played the American and the Mexican coast to coast and that is that there is some difference in the quality of microphones, volume adjustment and also the amp mics U.S. were a bit more powerful and had a crisper sound that said, the pickups are not Mexican shit far away it delivers a beautiful sound I still intend to change the pickups for Seymour Duncan SJB-1 which sounds the death for $ 140 CAD and there comes the sound will be closer to 90 to 95% of an American fender for about 60% the price of an American, a U.S. costs $ 1,350 against CAD $ 800 CAD for Mexican with new pickups and a good b-bridge gotoh 201, you make your choice.
