Made in USA. See the first review for CHARACTERISTICS. In fact G & released this bass ike a "reissue" of the first Precision bass invented by Leo Fender himself. (With these "vintage" pickups you come close to the original Precision bass. The Precision bass has a larger neck than the Jazz Bass, but is great to play (I'm a more a guitar player and more occasional bassplayer.

UTILIZATION

I love the neck, the bass is very eay to play, the action is low on mine. I was a bit scared when I felt the weight, but I do not notice anymore. (It is always advisable to use a wide strap trs being protected for the shoulder.) I like the sound, it is prcis, round. Many prefer flat wounded strings on the precision bass, I have not tried it yet.

SOUNDS

This bass is quite versatile, you can get a lot of DIFFERENT sounds. It is very easy to record as well.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it 1 month ago for 350$ (when it was released it was sold new in 1450) I'm a fan of G & L, they make excellent instruments. For the same money I'd buy it again, (with a larger budget I'd go for a 5-string G&L). You can't find better for the same money! And for those that love P-Basses it is an excellent choice. Not easy to find in Europe though.
