Best value: Excellent
Date and country of manufacture?
Made In United States in 1978

How many frets, what kind of micro as well as their configuration?
20 frets, 3 pickups with selector, volume and tone.

UTILIZATION

The handle is it fun?
Yes very nice, very surprising, access to acute is incredibly easy.

Ergonomics is good?
It weighs his weight, that's true at the same time, the more it weighs more one feels the instrument you are served here! The form is nothing special, she looks like a flying saucer. See important determinant of this bass, the strings are attached to the back of the bass which allows to have more sustain, well thought out!

SOUNDS

They are suitable to your style of music?
Well yes, I play mostly soul, funk and blues-rock. It's a very versatile and sounds great slap in the Sadowsky preamp externally.

OVERALL OPINION

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Oh yes! All the current top models of Ibanez, Fender Jazz Bass and the current U.S. precision, the Cort A4, A5 etc ... None really suited me, the ibanez had design flaws and were manufactured in Asia (not great except Made in Japan), The Cort did not suit what I was looking for (yet more Ibanez for the design but the woods Exotic is not my thing), the lower fender U.S. are too expensive for what they are worth today, it's more the sound of yesteryear.

Finally I started looking at the ads looking for a old style Japanese or American and I fell on the Gibson G3, is not to say, old American-made, old wood, good quality microphones, sustain beyond anything that I heard (except the old fender), in a word: WONDERFUL
How would you rate the quality / price?

700 euros, that is, the price of a Mexican Fender Jazz Bass with a quality above the fender U.S. is not to say, this is an excellent value for money.
