UTILIZATION

Low well-balanced, good grip.

the weight is bearable.
Access to the acute facility is simply cut.
this is my sixth low, it is among the best I had in terms of ergonomics.

SOUNDS

For now it suits what I play: rock seventies.
for her it is the fat with a high output level.
The neck pickup gives the bass and the bridge pickup the contour.
the tone controls is very efficient compared to others: you can go from a heavy sound, a sound very metal.
The sound of this bass is a Fender precision type with more sustain.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been three weeks that I have and I did two sessions of 2 hours or 4 hours of rehearsal on commodity hardware that is a head amplifier with compression and EQ and then output to the speaker fund.
On the recording the bass sounds strong and bold use of the tone is radically changing the sound, I like this a lot because I feel I have a reserve power and a good color palette of her at my fingers which is more useful to the game live.
A friend told me it sounded good and my playmates were found that it sounded too loud, especially during the second meeting where we were playing in a studio of 35 m2.
I had used for 450 euros in good condition with a "pet" on the back.
The ratio Q / P seemed pretty good.
For this price you can not have a Fender U.S., much less a Musicman and sisters unless a super plan.
For now the Godin SD 4 does not disappoint me but rather the time and sessions will give me more objectivity.
