I traded my '76 JB for it in '81. Used. Knew nothing about it. Played it in the store; felt great; active pre-amp; body was natural swamp ash. Back on the road, played it six nights a week, 4 to 5 yrs. Great sound. Punchy, long sustain, wide tone range. Everyone liked it. Smooth feeling neck and fretboard and a ton less weight on my shoulder than the JB !!! If I'd known how rare they are, I never would've sold it. Sad regret.
