USE

handle incredibly easy to play: very flat, short (30.75 inches)
Except for the slap, not great. Although I can not play slap anyway ...
well balanced, a little heavy for its size
Easy access to acute
its correct, heavy and greasy, good rock and roll.
delicate electronics (6 positions to play with the humbucker is too!

SOUNDS

rock and roll, rock, this is perfect for me, with an Ampeg, Trace elliot one ... I am confused. (Energetic game pick)
But the use of a good little preamp would not luxury to improve presence and brightness of the sound.
In overdrive, with maxon is terrible !!!
But again, oriented rock and roll, New York 70s rock ...

NOTICE GLOBAL

I play Warwick usual, and I bought the Hagstrom because of my frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis for connoisseurs), which prevented me from reaching the end of the handle 34 '' my Corvette $$. I love the look and sound, both very "vintage" and the facility to play it.
Really, for the price (400 to 450 new €) is excellent.
Well, I prefer my warwick, (although sometimes ...) but it is not comparable (already 3 times more expensive)
And my shoulder getting better, I have not really need a second low.
I advise small bass; to those beginning, and those of all pitites hands (those?) they will be comfortable. I sometimes struggle to get back on my way to the handle warwick sequoia !!!

The least: the Chinese electronics. I did everything again, simplifying: tone and volume micro, so jazz bass.
