« My bass trip. »
Published on 05/15/11 at 13:21Hohner B2A bass. Inspired Steinberger but wood.
Mine has benefited from the installation of EMG active pickups in place of origin.
I just shielded the cavity and put a selector.
UTILIZATION
I use it as bass trip. With my bass trainer (Tascam GT-R1) in a bag designed for a rifle (!), I can train anywhere. Pictures in my profile.
Is played seated without difficulty.
Disbursements must stretch a little arm to reach the top boxes, but nothing serious.
SOUNDS
Considering that I use, sound quality was not my No. 1 goal, yet it sounds. Preference for the neck pickup.
OVERALL OPINION
The stunning thing is the absolute precision tuning. We arrive at a precision and stability that buries all my other basses on this point. Steinberger system is truly revolutionary.
For me the ideal travel bass.
Practice as the day we share the adventure try an amp for rehearsals where we want to travel light ...
