Best value: Excellent
Here's a bass that deserves more than the trial he gave his title: Lawsuit
Made in Japan in 1975 Terada factory near Nagoya.
The bass is really well finished, binding, fine woods, fine varnish
The handle type Jazz bass is fine, fast and right.
The hardware is typical of the era: chrome steel, JB easel sheet, micro caps with damper under the bridge pickup cover.
21 frets - Passive balance, tone, volume, blend

UTILIZATION

The bass is quite heavy and Dufresne, the neck is thin and fast and the balance is right, this is what a Jazz Bass ...
Access is limited to acute ... this is a Jazz Bass ... what
The sound is typical of that time JB: Growl and midrange with deep bass and treble singing well ... this is a Jazz Bass ... what

SOUNDS

Plugged into a stack EDEN WT400 + D115XLT and it sends the fat
The pickups are not original and top as the bass is of excellent workmanship and wood stabilized (after almost 40 years, it's normal) should not hesitate to change the pickups and active electronics to pass !
Install good pickups (DiMarzio DP149 Ultrajazz kind) and a good preamp with plate Fender Jazz Bass (Noll or John East J-Retro Classsique) and you have a Jazz Bass that sounds better than a Fender ...

OVERALL OPINION

I have played for 5 years and this bass is simply amazing. I have recently taken the output from one recording and sound engineer could not believe it.

Obviously, with some up-grades needed to change the pickups and electronics for otrigine is an EXCELLENT price / quality ratio!
