Ibanez made active in Indonesia or Japan or Korea? Fixed bridge B100 low mahogany bolt-on Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard 22 frets;
Two active humbuckers Ibanez PFR-PFR-Neck4 Bridge4 and each with a volume control and an active system equalization EQB-II DX (a knob Bass and Treble with a lock halfway for easy adjustment).

UTILIZATION

The neck is very thin and very pleasant to play, against the pitch is very long, longer than I had seen on a bass, which give access to low rather difficult because away from the body and that the first boxes are great. Add to that the low slumps because the strap is attached behind the neck and the body is very small relative to the handle and you have access to low difficult. SOUNDS

OVERALL OPINION

I used two years, only active bass I've ever had.

I do not like the ergonomics dubious and impractical when playing standing.
The quality / price is very good.
I would do this choice without hesitation if I find a 5 string.

Playing in a rock/metal band, fan of some darker metals and hardrock.

Saw her on internet for quite a while. after reading all the reviews online I hopped to the local music store and brought a new one for 650 euro. I brought it together with a case.

It s shape steals the show. people are stunned when they see the shape! The fact she s active and gives an awesome output. I find she is strong enough on her own. I don t have to use a pedal anymore.

The shape hurts a bit in your chest when you re sitting down. The fact that she has battery s that can run out.

Bolt-on neck, Korean made. Large body, with a decent black finish and antique, white binding. The maple neck and head is similarly bound. The fretboard is ebony.

The lacquer coat on the neck wears off at a rapid rate.

Most other people complain about the strap placement. not that it s perfect. but the fact it nosedives isn t that bad. Seriously who is stupid enough to lift both hands of the bass anyway. The strapspot is fine. just get a pair of straplocks in case of.

22 frets, 4 knobs volume, balance, bass, treble.
4 Strings Elixir, impeccable.
The body gets dirty quickly, as black and shiny, fingerprints to predict.

UTILIZATION

Goodies: Channel pleasant, it does not have much frizz, Elixir strings standard.

Gros least: it stings terribly nose, especially not to let go. It weighs 5kgs, then provide a good strap (leather or mandatory.)

SOUNDS

It is well suited to a style rock, hard, metal. Very good sound, depending on the settings, sound quiet and soft to the heavy metal industry. I love the staff. Not even need multi effects.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one month, this is my first bass, found on eBay for 300 € instead of 500, and apart from the balance, which is set by playing the elbow to the body of the bass. Despite this and the body messy, this bass is perfect for hard rock. I love the form, original to a low location on the microphones for the thumb, handle great, do not hesitate if you find it cheaper!
