Neuser Crusade 4

The Crusade is the traditional model of Neuser with a simple shape between JB and MM Wood and "ordinary".
It should modulate this excess of classicism in speaking of the highest quality of violin making this model as "simple" Amen. On this subject in January (Onlybass) had a very nice test of the 5-string that I was greatly motivated me to start.

Here are some photographs of the beautiful, in its simplest device: The Crusade 4 Signature in full. Very simple in its shiny black dress with a white net that gives a small luxury side of the instrument. You'll notice the bridge, made by Neuser, very nice in the genre "monorail". The skid plate black and white is debatable but personally it suits me well and is useful while giving a small side MusicMan hijacked.

An easel both fine and coarse, a jack plug inserted into the body on the table (very handy) and traditional knobs which I will discuss below.

UTILIZATION

As foreshadowed in the previous picture, the handle is made of figured maple and the record is absolutely sublime and gives a touch of luxury to finish very sober body. Perfect varnish, rather soft to handle the kind contact.Dans fast it will be hard to do much better, it's a highway. Once is not custom, end with the head! Typical Neuser, double volute carved (bevel) houses mechanical Gotoh.
You can see the brass nut, little more nearly normal on an instrument of this class is very classe.La violin and electronics also: Made in EBS is the asset. EQ is quite disturbing since switch toggles the control of acute control of mediums by changing the sensitivity of the potentiometer.
January kindly sent me a PDF copy of the manual and this preamp is ... very special, with special curves and lots of possible settings.

More traditional, there is a balance between the two microphones and a master volume. The output level is not huge compared to the low of nags, but this is the philosophy of this instrument: a standard output level accuracy but huge, just like the e + EMG pickups for guitars. A real nice instrument that resembles me enough in the end: rather plain with one or two touches of discreet luxury, the anti-bling.

Two years, approximately.

What is so special that you love the most, least?
The handle is stunningly beautiful, accurate and fast.
The sound is always at the rendezvous.
