Made in USA, 24 frets, neck long enough then. Micro assets, see CHARACTERISTICS docs on the mark.
UTILIZATION
The neck is very enjoyable, sanded and non varnished. Access to trebble is great, the overall balance is perfect, the access to the buttons is just straightforward, the sound is excellent, and the button for the middle microphones is terrific
SOUNDS
Blues, blues rock, raeggae, punk rock, hard ... all the music authentic ! Just play around with the buttons of tonal and micro balance and it just works, but I leave all prefer to stick with the default balance. No breath, which is perfect for recording...
I play on a Hartke SansAmp Tech 21 + = just great !
OVERALL OPINION
I have this bass for 10 years. Contact with the natural wood is very nice, the tuning of the bridges is good. It is light. Pitch a little long but hey, that's where sport begins ! I haven't tried other models back then, I fell for the sound of this one. The quality/price balance is reasonnable, hardware is very good, tuning holds fine. The bass doesn't age though it is used regularly. Yes, I would buy it again if I hadn't discovered Sandberg ! I have a 5 string PM California now, it is different but certainly has the rock versatility of the Cirrus.
