Value For Money :
Excellent
This bass is made in indonesia, it's a short scale (small pitch) with a 19-round boxes. There is a single coil pickup driven by a volume knob and a tone. The bridge is like music-old man with two strings per saddle.
the handle is very thin, very close to a "big electric guitar."
UTILIZATION
By design, this small lightweight bass is primarily intended for young beginners with small hands as well as guitarists who occasionally want to play the bass while keeping the size of their usual instrument. We should still remember our elders crippled with rheumatism who enjoy being able to spare their backs thanks to its lightweight. Therefore less wood but not necessarily a small sound: indeed, for a first prize, she sends a lot of settings and simplicity will be easily its type precision junior. I bought this bass to give my daughter the desire to make music .... and it's so successful that she did not want another.
SOUNDS
To play rockbluespop, it is nice. For the cons slap sounds a little soft, it is plugged into my bass kick 515 or its crate. The first change was to replace the original microphone with a seymour duncan scpb2 which has the same format as for the accuracy of sting. A few strokes of files and two welds later, the sound of the beast become delivers a nice grain, from the heavy round of simply playing on the knobs who stayed home. I then replaced the original bridge with a Gotoh vintage precision, in order to be able to have a bridge for each string to refine the best accuracy of the instrument and gain sustain. My next modification will change the knobs. I use 40-95 strings and I think the combination of all these elements gives a very pleasant and distinctive.
OVERALL OPINION
My daughter uses it for 1 year, although I offered him since 4 years already. She also has a precision squier she does not want to use. She has the build and the hands of a teenager 15 years and this is where we discover the qualities of this bass: the children can play without breaking the bank back and parents too, to rest your fingers on a handle to ease while relieving vertebrae. I bought this bass € 210, € 70 the microphone and the bridge 35 €: € 315 for my daughter has a serious instrument, well made, which sounds, and whose weight makes him prefer his bass in his bag school ....
The value is excellent, the possibilities for developing low cost, then yes, I do it again this choice without hesitation.
