«  Very interesting! (For the price) »

So a Precision Bass accompanied by a micro Jazz Bass all Chinese manufacturing.

Two volume knobs (one for each pickup) and a general tone (one for each pickup could have been cool but considering the price ...).

I received it today and my faith I was pleasantly surprised! The object is beautiful, although it feels a little entry level (But again, "For the price ..." I often repeat x), but it's still a nice bass, the finishes are all was correct.

Only concern for fussy: The Jack plate is not snug to the body, you can see a small update ...

And perhaps a 2nd, the pickguard is covered with a protective plastic film, except that under the knobs is a little shit off, and they either have the wrong size Allen wrench to unscrew the knobs, or they have not been, so I end up with bits of plastoc 'protruding knobs without being able to remove because I do not have equipment level ...

UTILIZATION

Then I just start with one thing: I'm not a bassist TRUE! I pretend the night ... No, but I'm guitarist (Confirmed) at the base, I just need a little low for records, so this is a consideration in my opinion.

The handle is really not bad! I tried other Precision with sleeves much more "typed" because flatter and wider I would assume (From what I understood the Precisions have a somewhat special handle, unlike Jazz Bass that are closer a little more than a guitar), this low will you get done well, it's nice, it does not get sore hands as I could feel a "real" P-Bass, it slides Well, no complaints!

The machine is light enough, I was surprised at the total weight in the box, I wondered if they were not wrong instrument ... But it is not good!

The sound is really nice, a lot of possibilities with two microphones, I amused myself with a good time and I have not finished making the turn. (So I branch on Eleven Rack)

SOUNDS

As in everything Rock is just perfect!
I was afraid that Jazz Bass lacks a little c ** ilies (Maybe a wrong eh), but I found one microphone on the P-Bass was limited ...
You dreamed, Squier did. (As Fender, it's call the Precision Deluxe but it is much more expensive)

So as I said above the branch in Eleven Rack and sending it well! The sound is, by turns very fat, by turns jazzy, funky (For these two may be there's the way to find something more suitable), rock ... Between itself and the lower the different settings on my rack I did not expect was such a broad sound palette! Good, that's all benef '!

Then of course, once again, we feel that the lack of a ... Depth may be, the "I-don't-know-what" that makes it REALLY sending heavy, but I'm talking about three times more expensive instruments, at least!
This bass does not sound like a custom shop but it gives good bang for our money, even a little more.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for today! So I would change some things as far and if my opinion changes.

I tried some low store, especially a Fender P-Bass much more expensive (Around the 1000th I think probably a Mexican) and a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass.

The first was still higher at any point of view, and this is normal! When a second whose merits I found it a bit smoother than the Affinity often sell! So I'm happy with my choice! Hopefully it lasts!

I read about AF there not so long ago that low-end instruments of today are not those of 10 years ago, and it's true that I was surprised at the quality of the machine, it is playable, even nice, it sounds quite honestly, I find the quality / very good value, so I'll take a look on the side of Squier guitars he m ' seemed to identify a small Tele 200th ...

Do not hesitate to contact me if you want some sounds because information about this bass are few unfortunately! But I can only advise a beginner, beginner or a little less to people in my case.
