I bought it as my first bass, about 5 years ago. I hadn't had much money so I bought it second handed for approx. 200 Euro. It is not much, considering it is a Japanese made guitar.

When i bought it, I liked everything about it, but now... Only the durability and appearance (three-colour sunburst, rosewood fingerboard) are good about it.

After years of playing, frets are worn, pickups don't give true Fender sound and bridge is terrible (due lack of maintenace, though).

As I wrote above, this bass is very durable and has seen a lot of bad situatins, especially in my younger days. Still, it stays in tune all the time, even when I put it in gig bag after concert, and take it out after a day or two, it is still tuned. Construction is good, considering this to be a very cheap instrument. I'm not so shure that a new Fender that costs about 4 times as Squier, is better in a same rate.

Affordable, durable and beautifull bass. But I wouldn't reccomend it to anybody but begginer. Sound (Precision sound) is universal, so you can play any type of music with it.
