«  Low for project customization »

Published on 05/19/11 at 03:37
Made in China
Standard bridge, intonation adjustable for each string.
The hole of the E string was too small. I had to enlarge the drill!
Maple neck, alder body, characteristic for this incredible price ...
20 frets
Simple Micro split
volume, tone very effective.
Key open wide and precise. Tree head a little gross, a little filing to facilitate the transition of the D string.
The jack is the worst I've ever seen.
The jack gets stuck inside. Yuck!

UTILIZATION

Channel a bit stiff, lacking a little lemon oil ...
Ordinary form for accuracy, just the head is different. This is the version that looks like Fender, unlike the new ursa ...
4kg100 indicates the weight a little heavy compared to a real one.
I bought mine secondhand tortoise pickguard with black knobs and very hard probably not original.
It is a simple and effective low.

SOUNDS

It is suitable for all music!
The tone really sculpt the sound. Perfect for slap and finger play.
It is always subjective, but the sound is really good with the original pickups!
Beware of buzz on this brand in the forums!

OVERALL OPINION

1 day
I own a Vantage P / J medium. I tried a Mexican custom shop in very good vintage sound, an American Deluxe and a musicman stingray both very small, but humbuckers do not agree with me on bass.
What I like about this bass is considering the price, it can customize and "roadworner" without mercy! She rings of death! What I dislike is that on occasion, she was already a bit damaged, but I like that less remorse for abusing her!
I do not recommend this brand for a beginner. You must know the address everywhere, shielded cavities, redo some welding, cutting his head a little ugly in "telecaster bass", etc..
But ultimately, it's a very good instrument which deserves to be cared for, like all instruments!
