« Good but ... »
Published on 06/23/11 at 18:31Let's say it's a P bass made in Asia, China in memory!
CHARACTERISTICS if not all of a P bass! Unless it's a short scale, so IDAL for small hands ... All seems correct!
UTILIZATION
ca allert can handle: a few frets that dpassent your memory and remember to slide lower ... Otherwise it is in the line of branded Fender!
SOUNDS
Well the bottom hurts ... If the bass is relatively lgre, "small", mine was a size smaller than a standard P bass, it seemed almost a toy to beginners ... Otherwise a go! Good strings are the original cast of! After new strings installed, it's a safe (oh yes the pickups are pretty bad ... So change it!).
The biggest worry is the E string. It does not ring! Try as I had all possible rglages (action of the handle, bridges, pickups, change of firing ...) nothing worked! This rope has always sonn below the other (same with other microphones, the ground and silent r still too high!) ... So big problems for a set of low if the default is half!
OVERALL OPINION
I kept a few weeks ... quickly resold and pass on a Fender P bass worthy of the name: Nothing to see!
In short, a low for:
- Those who have "microphone" hands!
- Those who want to move from low guitar without being dpays!
- Those who do not use the "mi" (we should not be many!)
- Those with a micro budget: personal, I still prfre Harley Benton!
- Collectors who want a low COD CHRE not!
For others: Flee! Take plutt a Squier Affinity, CHRE a bit more, but well above in quality! I admit that the look of this bass is nice but for the rest: Firewood!
