Tanglewood Warrior 2

i came accross this buityfull bass guitar in a small shop in swindon for 235 smackeroons, which is a small price to pay for such a quality sounding bass.
i was brousing around the shop looking for a heavy sounding bass so i was looking for some phatty pickups and there she was with the mahogany neck and the mahogany gloss body.

The thing i love most about this bass is the price and the playing quality, it a bass to be used for the heavyer playing due to the phatty humbucker pickups and it sounds much better if you wack the heavyest strings you can fined on it.
The shear design of this bass is not like many others, the mahogany neck have got to be my faverate point.

Musician INC, Dublin. euro 395. The reason
why i bought this bass was that it was not
expensive and the tone, size and comfort when i gave it a go in the shop stunned me!

It sounds so clean with the tone turned down
and when the tone is turned up it gives the perfect rough high tone sound without the frustrating hiss coming through the amp! PERFECT!

Not a stunning slap bass and its a bit heavy!

25 frets, mahogany fret board, volume, treble and middle knobs. Guitar body made from solid wood, stylish head stock, Silver neck and tuning knobs.

All in all this is just one brilliant bass guitar! You can almost smell the quality when your using it! And if you cant well you'll hear it!

I'm not a great technician or a freak or technical features so I'm not going to say much on this tab.
Micro liabilities.
3 knobs, one volume, one tone knob and one microphone. It does not serve me much because it is set permanently on the double, just giving her a really thick. Beware the knobs are fairly fragile and one of mine broke. From what I've read elsewhere, is an identified problem.
The sound is good vacuum, and I play often with no amp on my balcony when the children are asleep.
The mechanics are solid and I rarely am retuning after a set.

UTILIZATION

The handle is more like a tree trunk as a handle to the shred, but with large hands, for me it is very nice, especially for bass. I think psychologically reassuring in the case of a low to have the feel of a big fat round sound.
Access to acute is no problem, but I want my bass really high (strangled with the strap limit ;-).
It is quite heavy but well balanced, and letting go of hands it into a horizontal position, so ideal for slap.
The body is well rounded and can play without sitting shear thigh.

SOUNDS

Initially I had adopted a set of super hard to play maiden and it went very smoothly.
Since this year I adopted a draft much less strong and super flexible adjustment to the slap and the E string, it frissouille a bit. Not much a review chtite (qq filing of frets) can rectify.
In setting the sound is double net, for singles it is against good thick greasy, which I personally do not like.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been two years since I use it, and I spent a lot of time to try other main Cort and a fender jazz bass.
What made me flash is the handle that for me is quite lovely. I find also very flexible to play in all styles. This is of course not an exception but low for my part I do not sell it. I still expected in the medium term of a review from a luthier who previously reviewed two of my guitars. But I personally think that in any case is unfortunately to be done to each of them, the factory settings can not ignore the pull that you will use.
I also planned to change the microphone is missing some fishing.
To conclude, in this price range (300 euros in memory), and many is the one I chose at the time and I've never regretted it. In addition I love the brushed wood look. I put 8 in the micro that I do not exceptional.
