« Washburn XB-100 »
Published on 02/20/02 at 15:00I bought my washburn from a musicians friend magazine for $299 dollars
I like how my guitar sounds when i play it. It is a good guitar to slap and pop on.
I have had mine for a few years and it is still in very good shape. I love the purple paint too.
I would have been nicer to have a full size neck but its fine. The string guide on the top of the neck was made out of plastic and it broke so i had it replaced with a ivory piece for $60.00.
It has alot of dings in it and the neck is starting to crack and warp. It could have been made alot better.
Overall this is an okay bass other than the plastic piece that broke the neck starting to warp and crack it still sounds okay. Im not sure if ill buy another washburn guitar at least not another xb-100 i think i will but the next xb series they are very nice guitars. I think I deserve to win that bass because i love playing it more than anyone else.
Thank you
