Yamaha BB200F

Having bought this bass used 10 years ago for the modest sum of 1000F, I possde little information on the matrial component.
Regarding the entry of SERIES BB, she is likely to be of Asian manufacturing.
I know nothing about wood, so I refrain.
The microphone is like Precision Bass, all the bass itself inspired by this glorious groin.
The frets are 21 in number if there were, the F-200F BB indicating that we are in a low prsence fretlesss. These are the "cheat lines" painted on the handle (which screwed on the pictures to believe that the bass is fret.
The bridge is basic type P Bass in tle pressed.
The knobs are in number 2, volume and tone and electronic is passive.

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable trs (a fretless is a bit easier to say).
In fact, everything is very well (good Access in acute amlior could be but it is the same as the Plow, so we know where we are).
The only downside is the rel microphone, a sound that dlivre EHJV or without grain. I replaced it with a Seymour Duncan, and I no longer recognized my bass.
I plan to replace the tailpiece of origin by a more massive MODEL amliorer to sustain, which is correct, but no monster (a large fretless).

SOUNDS

It is obvious that the fretless bass goes better with certain types of music than others, some of the same styles of play such as the slap is not the most suitable.
Being a copy of Precision, the sound palette is not wide trs (one microphone).
Any Manir, it is impractical to change the original very quickly if we want to obtain a sound that takes the road.

OVERALL OPINION

I possde for about 10 years, black, and for some small modifications, it became one of my basses prfres:
Changing the micro (impractical)
Installation of a custom skid plate (optional, but the "Black Pearl" on black, is really).
Installation of a thumb rest (really optional, but I never could stick my thumb correctly on a Micro Precision)
The quality-price ratio INTERESTED BECAUSE hand the microphone very feeble, the instrument is easy to play, and "cheat lines" for beginners practice the fretless (c ' the silent era my case, and that's what made me buy it).
