UTILIZATION

The handle is painted, it slides a lot, but nothing special, it's not a freeway, an expressway instead ^ ^
For ergonomics, not bad, the body is light (about 3.3 kg) so for me, having back problems it does so with a good strap. For shape, the upper horn mounts OK but nothing annoying, it looks really stylish. For the lower horn, the ergonomics are not great but it takes on the thigh. Please note that it does not slip because of the varnish.
Access to treble is great thanks to the shape and contour of the lower horn.
For sound, a master volume, tone and overall the milieu, a balance to select the microphone and the power of each dose.

SOUNDS

I play Jazz, Blues, Lunchbox, Metal, Rock ... it follows well thanks to its micro-config P / J
With the balance, a rock sound by not putting the mic accuracy, warm sound with good midrange center position and a well jazzy, round, warm with the Jazz. After that, between these three notches is not the power of each dose. In short, a great range of sound for a passive.
I played on a 15w Laney RB-1 coupled with a Boss ME-20 B and the fact that serious. Without the pedal is nickel, great sound even with the equalizer neutral.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since yesterday (bought yesterday) to replace my Thunderbird. 9a does not sound the same, but it's obviously suits me perfectly for the style I play. I try many basses before (Ibanez SR300, Yamaha BB 424, Yamaha RBX 370, Epiphone viola bass, Squier classic vibe 51 ', ...) and for the price (300 new on the internet) is a great instrument . What I like least is the crack on the head in terms of mechanical and Re Mi (but not confirmed by a luthier risk) makes me a bit scared ^ ^ but good for its price and we not complain.
€ 300 if not, it's a good bass, good finishes, super nice and handle grip. I had the feeling from the start! I recommend it!
