UTILIZATION

This is my first bass and I 'm very satisfied with the handle is nickel, the access to the latest cargo is no problem, it is well balanced and very light.

SOUNDS

I think it is very versatile
I use it with a Hartke B300 amp vst effects more

It is a beautiful low at all levels.
Taiwanese manufacturing is very successful. The handle is easy, finishing is exemplary.
The pickups are kind of Precision bass: 2 + 1 split bridge.
The electronics are active.

UTILIZATION

From the perspective of finishes, all the know-how Yamaha was utilized.
It is light and handy. The design is (in my opinion) prettier than the new, more symmetry and femininity.
The sound is very versatile and very musical. The mail is still not at Bartolini, but with a decent amp this bass is capable of giving the desired sound (I guess the pickups are very very good! I have tried with different amps and This confirmed to me what I thought). Microphones allow a good range of sounds mellow sounds more aggressive.

SOUNDS

Because of its versatility, this bass is very convenient for all styles of music (except metal and then with what it takes as preamp + amp).
There is almost nothing wrong with this great bass. In addition it is indestructible!

I had a low entry level before buying (150 euros ).... Ugh! Once we have the Yamaha, we see that we progress! It's amazing! If you are new, consider looking at this model OCCAZ, if you are confirmed, then you know what I mean!
This bass is really worth today OCCAZ 'because it's solid, it's very good, not bcp more expensive than a new entry, but then it really rips and allow for rapid and meaningful (which would perhaps not the case with an entry-level ...)- end of 2006, type in the 250-275 euros OCCAZ in my opinion, it is given!

Mine was purchased in 2004, although it is quite possible that it was produced a year or two before. Made in Taiwan, 24 frets, 4 strings. 4 knobs: volume, pickup balance, treble, bass. I do not know much else, I never studied it.

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite nice, although it is far from the top. It is very pleasant in contrast to its lightness. I feel good with this bass and you can pretty well take the whole round.

Too bad the knobs are rather fragile, I had to fix it. The input jack is not great either.

Not necessarily a sound wonderful, but still a nice potatoes compared to some more expensive models and a little more top end.

OVERALL OPINION

I have four years ago, I bought an Ibanez SR505 there is a little over a year but I still use mostly my Yamaha, it seems more suited to play things a bit aggressive. I got attached and I did not intend to part with it!

Active bass, 4 strings, 24 frets manufacturing tawanaise .4 potentiomtres (volume, treble, bass, balance microphones).
2 pickups (single and double).

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite enjoyable and we can say that it is easy jouer.J 'd have nanmoins to lower the strings as they taient far too high and the slap is really dommage.J' have therefore gained in touch but because it lost its frieze much more than before ... So if you want to do mfiez you'll have to be trs prcis have its own, but c is possible with a time of adjustment.
Access in acute plutt is easy but only on the G string and r the other 2 as inaccessible from the 15th fret (disabling for solos), the default is nanmoins compensated by the handle "double-octave" so we can implement a lot of things.
In weight is excellent, it is trslgre.
For sound you can do many things diffrent INTERESTED what is, for the quality remains fairly average, enjoyable but nothing transcendent either.

SOUNDS

To play good old rock is what it takes, the one must do mtal also smaller scale funk or jazz.Mais has the advantage of adapting a minimum.
