Wah, Volume, Comp, distortion, EQ, noise gate (x2) preamp (x2), fx1, fx2, chorus, delay, reverb, and an external effect unit.
Found in the fx effects that are not within the category (type octave pitshift, ringmodulator etc. ....
The effects are editable via software NOT PROVIDED by boss (gt10fxfloorboard) but the edition are the gt10 sounds is not so complicated. just the app provides flexibility and can not bend 2 on his machine.
We are in COSM and connections were all that need: between jack, effects loop, stereo output, midi in & out, pc ....
UTILIZATION
the manual provides a lot of info, read in detail is a more certain (the details are valid whatever the mode of edtion, pc or on the machine. Nevertheless I prefer to do the edition from the software.
SOUND QUALITY
While most effects are effective except Octaver and guitar synth.
Modules must be considered as truly independent effects.
The big quesiton of distos and preamp: At the beginning I found that the GT10 was all that resselblaient saturation with just a different equalization but if worked with enough volume we feel the diffrence. I had the opportunity to compare with a Fender Mustang IV and models are the same level. The settings are sensitive enough, there is no need to move much of the eq preamp to feel the change.
The boss is way to connect to anything (input amplifier, sound, effects loop return .....) a use, which suits him better sound system and loop effect
OVERALL OPINION
It's been several years since I use it. I find the report rather good quality price.
It must be realized that the GT10 is like all the stuff: it tends to be a great sound that is at once by repeating does not work anymore especially if you bump with a different monitoring system (make a sound through headphones example and play on an amp)
This thing has the versatility to him. Now if you have special needs "simple" type I branch and I play with little effect, use a multi-effect will not be used and as much from an amp and a pedal or two.
If you want to increase the quality it will necessarily increase the price and go for example on a shaft.
