Well I think everything has been said, it is a multi-effects guitar in 19 "(1U), stereo, MIDI ...
found chorus, flanger, reverb, delay, autofilter, noise gate, parametric equation (useful only on the latest firmware), compressor. Classic what?
I put 9 because I believe that the features are interesting for a vehicle of this price range.
UTILIZATION
Operation is simple, as long as we know what are the multiple effects of certain parameters. The screen is clear, just read, and it comes out easily (I never used the manual to configure it).
For MIDI, it has a learning function, once the super easy to setup, just put in "Learn" and press the desired MIDI controller. Child's play!
The only problem I think is the équalo "holed up" with the noise gate, so the requirement to activate NG for the equalizer. Not great (but hey, it was basic with no plans équalo is a feature added to the TC hard).
Second thing, most important: can not switch the chaining effect, that's a shame all the same!
SOUND QUALITY
Sound quality level, modulations (flanger, phaser and chorus) is not too bad. It sounds a bit artificial anyway. The delay and reverb are good bill.
The tremolo / vibrato is precise and efficient (and fun for the stereo panner).
by against, section noise gate, compressor and autofilter is not great. The compressor sound much food.
Also note that the multi is not "neutral". We hear a clear difference between bypass and on, even with no effect engaged. To be taken into account then. Especially when you spend an hour to settle a stunning clean sound with the preamp and Poweramp, and when adding the effect: "Oh damn, it sounds darker."
OVERALL OPINION
Used for 6 months, in a chain with a completely Midi JMP1 Marshall.
I knew by name. I confess to not being disappointed by the beast, for the price we must say what is, it fulfills its function.
Just do not expect miracles level sound quality, the effects are not transcendent either. For the purists, it should be moving towards its big brother, the G-Force.
But as long as one seeks only a few modulation, reverb, and delay of satisfactory quality, this machine is for you!
I recommend it strongly for small budgets!
