Analog Chorus
Digital Delay
my only regret: Not true bypass, but a buffer of high quality
UTILIZATION
Like any self-respecting chorus, the use is very simple.
The knobs respond very well to micrometer
The delay is also very easy to use.
Special feature: Ability to switch from a long delay (lead) to a very short delay (rock-a-billy) a switch
I had a small problem with cons.
This is food. I connected a 9v battery not fully loaded. The first day of use, Nickel. The second day I started getting scared. With the effects turned off, no problem, but once an effect on, it was a disaster! Sounds completions eaten by a background noise level output collapsed ...
In short, it is best to use brand new batteries or a power supply. I think the official site, it is advisable to use an adapter.
SOUND QUALITY
The chorus is a very high quality. My opinion is on my experience: I did not touch other Chorus pedals ^ _ ^
But it has an impressive variety in the settings. I do not grow at all the knobs to get the desired effects. Otherwise, pushing further, we get very experimental effects.
Now I use it primarily to make arpeggios volume to a clean sound. But also do nicely for palm muting and swell the lead.
I do not play Rock-A-Billy, but the short delay allowed me to find sounds that I wanted. Concerning the long delay in the lead, I have a slight disappointment: I did not find the exact delay as expected. It may simply be a matter of adjustment since I have not spent enough time on it.
OVERALL OPINION
It's been a long time I was looking for a solution of this type: a case involving chorus and delay. The Must have been to include some other modulation effects (tremolo, flanger, phaser), but maybe one day?
I got it used, and there is an excellent deal. You have there, a box containing two high-quality effects. In any case, being newbie in the effects I am completely satisfied!
A recommendation for those who:
- Not too much room at home (2 pedals in 1)
- Can not afford to invest in two large pedals
- Are looking for a chorus + delay
