A nice work! Relief table type "crocodile skin", very beautiful maple neck with binding of trsrussi key original inlays on rosewood fingerboard, ... An excellent qualitprix. The high end Ibanez!

OVERALL OPINION

The APEX1, I cracked it for its superb finish bikers with black stars on the key ... and finally big disappointment: I kept 1 week (ibanez custom shop yet), I believe, is the same handle as the UV777 ... I did not like at all: it is wider than my dean RC7G USA, also thicker, microphones and vibrato weaklings who does not agree if it is put back in standard tuning (though I had a multitude guitars with floyd!) ... for scratching over € 2000, this is unacceptable)

the guitar has been tested on the high-end gear lamp (+ rocktron prophesy2 2:60 brunetti, as well as Marshall YJM 100 head and Celestion V30 speakers)

UTILIZATION

The handle is very pleasant but I think I board the relatively long, thin fingers.
While playing instead of the rhythm I can play the solo on this guitar without pb because the ergonomics are good.
I board the impression that it is lighter than the previous set of K7.
Mine is still fairly new and I board has just begun to settle the way I like it already sounds better than my old K7.
In any case if the amp is up this config is good, neither too much nor too little.

SOUNDS

I play mostly metal on a rack and Mesa is perfect.
In my compound which I prefer is the clean sound is very deep (remaining crystalline) thanks to the tuning between autre.Mais serious it is very promising disto, I find it more accurate than my old K7.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for only one week but already I board an old model K7.
This is exactly the same pattern of change outside of vibrato etc ... it does not make the same feeling, but I think it is a winner over the old. (But close)
What I like is that the main config that does the right thing and not 15 buttons which uses jamais.D the other hand it uses really very good performance of my amp and gives a very good sound directly. (can be harder on an amp entry level)
I board already played on many of the 7-string and so far it's my favorite (well ahead of the Universe in any case and I tried almost a 10aine ais)
The value price is right for this quality.
I board buy that for a second second K7 7-string And because I like the finisher and I do not see anything ravi.Je a fault it is precisely my expectations and my tastes.

A nice book: Table type embossed "crocodile skin" trs beautiful handle with Saddle trsrussi key binding, inlays on original rosewood fingerboard, ... High-end home Ibanez! Qualitprix excellent value.

UTILIZATION

Inspiration is deeply stratode (or even superstratode): pitch, body shape with bevels ergonomic ACCS ais acute due to the deep cut sides, ...
Rsultat: comfort including the handle off yet (7 strings).
The weight? Trs content.
The only difficulty getting used to the game 7-string.
The U bar (whammy bar U-shaped with two anchor points on the block vibrato) is more useful anecdotal, but it's part of the exclusivity of the MODEL. Excellent agreement with the edge pro tremolo.
In two words: ergonomic trs.

SOUNDS

Korn is a signature guitar, so its a heavy trs, trs atmosphre a serious and somber music trs. Not for the pop ballad. Adding that the two guitarists of Korn branch (there are only Munky, Head both sides in a mystical DLIR) in a head Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier! The trs trs heavy!
So what about small amps in our living room? The low output pickups make the sound of an amp dcevant modest power and inquitant characters sound of Korn are absent. But connecting an amp pluttpchu lamps (I possde a combo Mesa Boogie Rect-O-Verb 50 Watt single correct and a Marshall 100 watt combo JVM410) things back to normal .. . and the guitar is fully expressed: powerful bass register, its heavy and oppressive.
Note: 1 potentiomtre volume, no potentiomtre of Tone. Therefore little versatility.
Total: 7 / 10 because you have to plug it into an amp "high gain" to find high quality sound we were looking into buying it.

OVERALL OPINION

- Pros: the quality of manufacturing and exemplary finish, the exclusivity of the MODEL (table, inlay, 7 strings), ergonomics;
- Cons: Requires a high end amp "high gain" to express themselves fully, not versatile.
Total: I will 7 / 10. I love this guitar but its use is restricted trs. In troisime choice (or more) for fans of Korn (if you prfrez Slipknot, go for the Ibanez 7-string team of Seven EMG: sounds sharper but colder).
