Ibanez will launch at the end of this summer a more affordable version of the M8M Meshuggah Signature 8-string guitar.
Named M80M, this lower-budget version of the M8M Meshuggah Signature guitar is announced in the USA for the price of $2000, while the original retails for $6000.
The main changes made by Ibanez on this model are the woods, with ash being used for the body (alder on the original) and maple/walnut for the neck (maple and bubinga on the M8M).
However, the guitar retains the 29.4" scale length, the single Lundgren M8 humbucker pickup, the FX Edge III-8 bridge and the black finish used on the M8M.
The Ibanez Meshuggah M80M will be available at the end of august.
