SOUNDS

I like everything except the floyd which can be with 7 top rope and a "can" that less flexible with floyd Mount of 6 rope, but c is the particularity of July 1st string. I seek the cepandant ptites chard because c is hard to find fault ....
j ais really try a lot of guitar because I know some friends who work ds a music store and none made me the envy for instent

this guitar is beautiful trs, that's 6 years since I looked at her and she can please tjs However, it is not too dependent on frills, the shell surrounding the body is simply superb, the plate mirror makes it richer and the small Icne 777 with the eye gives it a touch of finesse.
I have not tried other 7-string before buying it but I had a dj Ibanez 540FM (marvel the era) and I tried dj jem.
for me the price quality ratio t unbeatable, bought used in 1140 Lead Guitars no one could even say pte new. (I can sell it more expensive today, knowing that on mine the silver staining of the vibrato is not starting.

UTILIZATION

HANDLE:
The handle is really nice and really dedicated to shred. We could just blame him chouilla an adaptation difficult when it is the first time you tame a 7-string. The width is still ideal for a 7-string.
ACCESS TO ACUTE:
When playing up no worries! However it may be sitting slight discomfort for big differences in the acute (the back of the hand "bump" against the body of the guitar).
ERGONOMICS:
No major flaw in sight. Certainly it is a little heavy but nothing unbearable. It does not get tired when playing (this is the hardest of the concert brought in his flight! There is HELL )
Regarding the form, it is simply perfect: it's a really nice guitar and graceful from any angle.
SOUND:
So there is really its strong point. This guitar is an unusual versatility (I can hardly find such a versatile model apart from Shawn Lane Vigier).
The selector provides access to a range of sounds very interesting and when this couple to a judicious use of the volume knob (and the tone) is nirvana guitar.
The ultra sound is defined even when we lower the volume knob very low ... PERFECT!

STYLE OF MUSIC:
Personally I play in a group of punk-hardcore and frankly it's the guitar I wanted. But heavy set (even if). The rhythmic sound divine and the solos ... Vai is a model so I'll let you guess!
As I have very different tastes I made him taste all kinds of music (Metal / Funk / Rock / Blues / Jazz / Ballads etc ...) and honestly, I have never been disappointed!

AMP:
I currently play on a Peavey Bandit 112 plugged into a Marshall 4x12 (sometimes Peavey) and a Digitech Death Metal (or Metal Monster Guyatone MMX). No concern that balance (but watch out for those with an open-back combo => big bass without the constraint of a back plate can damage the membrane, I have experienced ...)

Sounds OBTAINED:
As I already said, this guitar is a marvel of versatility ... Therefore there is no limit to the sounds you can get. The sustain is really good, as well as accuracy in all registers. Warning for those who are not used, it is not clear at the beginning of ringing distortion ideally agreements in which the bass is on the line Si ..

Sounds PREFERRED / disliked:
Nothing to report ... It's all good in an objective (big surprise right on the clean sounds slammin). Also note that this guitar is rich in harmonics.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been about a year I use it and I do it again this choice without asking more questions. I owned an Ibanez before RG2550EX Prestige (which was a true marvel, too).
The finish is beautiful (the magical pearl!), The quality is as sound as you go in terms of equipment (micro / floyd / ... everything is good).
Regarding the quality / price ratio, it must be said that 2000 euros (price at the time) but it is a sacred sum ... Once the machine in the hands can not regret anything (and advises prospective buyers: do not be discouraged by the small adjustment difficulties than 6 to 7 strings!).
Quality fully justifies the price then: go for it!

For admit I have not had the opportunity to try before you buy it (hard to find a Universe in Bordeaux). I tried a 7 string low end that does not really seduced me and gave me a bad image of the 7 strings. But I had great confidence in the models Ibanez Prestiqge and even more models that I love Vai.

Conclusion: Universe for ever! I redeem it blindfolded and I will sell even a body for it!

UTILIZATION

The neck as I said above is a true highway or too thin nor too thick. More used to it very quickly for a 7 string.

The ergonomics are excellent, the guitar is not too heavy and very well balanced, it does not look, if we loose hands, it remains at its position of play

Access to treble is excellent, no hassle to move my hand.

We obtain immediately a good sound, even played open we feel that it sounds "full." After the amp settings and how to play do the rest ... .

SOUNDS

I play mainly Metal and Symphonic Death Metal (kind Epica, Nightwish, Amon Amarth etc. ....).

I get an edge well be a little spicy. My amp is a Fryette 2:90:2 and péampli is a SansAmp PSA-1. All in a Marshall 1960 A cabinet fitted with two V30 G12 and two T-75.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two weeks now, and I admit that she immediately convinced me.

I had not tried other 7 strings before buying, so hard to compare to this view.

I love the most, I like the least .... I love everything about this guitar, no bad thing to report.

I put all the stars around because obviously I would do this choice, value for money is excellent. While the guitar at a price, but good to be sound and the comfort and finish and quality that go with it!.
