Value For Money :
Excellent
- Made in China
- Basswood body
- Bolt maple rosewood fingerboard 24 Jumbo frets
- 2 Schecter humbuckers "High Output" and split with push / pull on tone
- Volume / Tone / 3-position selector
- Tune O Matic Bridge, String through-
- Mechanical Schecter oil bath
assembly is of good quality, some flaws finish (black marks on the binding), the mechanisms are well agreement, a little cheap easel
UTILIZATION
- Handle very large (7-string requires bah yes!) And relatively flat, good access to acute
- Guitar rather comfortable although a bit heavy
- Installation of frets impeccable
like all the guitars entry level, an adjustment is required. The curvature of the neck, intonation, pitch microphones need to be addressed.
The knobs are not progressive is a bit of on / off
SOUNDS
While the pickups are not great so the sound is rather rough but it can be fun
For the old school death metal or grind it very well, it gives a good side degueux.
Parcontre for the prog or jazz is not that great.
OVERALL OPINION
This is a first step into the world of 7-string for me and I must say that Schecter does not disappoint. For a small fee (<350 €) was a pleasant guitar playing that will please fans tuning down.
The target is very clear (neo) with a metal can be micro upgrade it could be suitable for prog fans.
9 / 10 report for the unbeatable price / performance
